About Chula Vista

Chula Vista in Spanish stands for “beautiful view” and is the second largest city in the San Diego County. The city of Chula Vista lies between majestic mountains and is a fast developing center of economic and cultural growth. The San Diego Land and Town Company initiated development on the land of Chula Vista in 1887. During World War I and II the city was host to army bases, the remains of which however, are no longer present. The Lemon orchards of Chula Vista have proudly been known for their record crop over the years.
