Established in 1888, Escondido is one of the oldest cities of San Diego County. The city is known as being the battleground for the famous battle of San Pasqual fought years ago in the southeast region of Escondido. Besides it’s rich history, the city is renowned for its agricultural riches and the farms growing a variety of fruit and vegetables including lemons, oranges, walnut trees and the famous avocado harvest.
